Amy was a little surprised that Ethan could answer any of Cat’s questions about how his physiology worked. Most people didn’t understand the physics behind their own biology. And as far as Ethan was concerned, the ability to shift was just part of his biology. Amy kept silent as her sister grilled Ethan, trying to process feelings so mixed and chaotic she wasn’t sure a month of processing would help.
One thing was certain, seeing Ethan turn into a tiger hadn’t done a thing to kill the lust she felt for him. She was acutely aware him, sitting close enough she could feel his heat even though they were no longer touching. He smelled so damned good, she wanted to plaster herself against him and just breathe him in. Her skin felt hot everywhere, and her pulse throbbed as her imagination filled with remembered sensations—the feel of his mouth, hard against hers, trailing over her neck, over her jaw, demanding and giving at the same time; the way her breasts had rubbed against his chest with every breath, the sensation lighting sparks of fire in her; the way his fingers had clenched in her shirt, like he was on the verge of ripping it off. That thought made her shiver a little.
Ethan glanced at her, frowning slightly in question, but she shook him off as Cat tossed another question at him. Amy wasn’t about to explain that shiver in front of her sister.
She felt a little perverse, sitting here fantasizing about Ethan, but she couldn’t seem to help herself. What the hell was it about him? He was trying to explain what it felt like to twist himself inside out and become a tiger, and all Amy could focus on was how much she wanted to run her hands over all those lovely muscles of his, how much she wanted to strip him and finally do all those things she hadn’t allowed herself to consider while he was modeling for her class. At least she’d tried to ignore those fantasies during the sessions. At home, at night, her dreams had been full of Ethan. And now, she wanted to make those dreams real.
As she watched him talk, she wondered what he’d do if she leaned forward and settled her hand on his thigh, how he’d react if she slid her fingers up his thigh to his cock, what sounds he’d make if she stroked him, if she put her mouth on him. Her imagination once again ran away with the fantasy, drawing it out in exquisite detail that made her hot and achy. She clenched her thighs and hugged her knees tighter, both to elevate some of the building tension and in an attempt to keep her hands to herself.
Ethan adjusted his position a little, moving just a hair’s breath closer, a subtle tension rippling through his body, and she heard him take a deep inhale that sounded just a bit shaky. When he answered Cat’s next question, his voice was deeper and huskier than it had been just moments before.
